In the 2018 governors election in georgia an african american democrat stacy abrams lost the governorship by 3,000 votes. the republican she was running against was the secretary of state for georgia and his job was to oversee applications to vote. after the election that he won by 3,000 votes there were 57,000 voters applications to vote from african americans in his desk drawer. stacy abrams made her mission to get black folks registered to vote for the 2020 election.....i believe her to be successful
